To Ted Nelson Home Page

Please note: I have heard that PIRATED EDITIONS OF MY BOOKS
are being sold by a tacky firm in the state of Indiana.
As a self-publisher I do not have the resources to sue them in their home state.
I am asking all parties NOT TO BUY OR SELL THESE FALSE EDITIONS.

WRITINGS OF T. NELSON (and Lectures)

CURRENTLY ON THE WEB:

"The Crafting of Media" (1970).  A short piece about the future design of electronic media, as I was thinking from 1960 to 1970.

Streaming video (Microsoft format): Lecture at Stanford Dougfest, December 1998 (about 20 minutes).  Possibly my best lecture ever.  (You have to plunk into the middle of "Section 3" from the page hither.)  It was at a wonderful conference (organized by Paul Saffo) celebrating the 30th anniversary of Douglas Engelbart's incredible demo in 1968.  ("Engelbart's Unfinished Revolution".)

Streaming video (RealVideo format): Interview on ZDTV (in two short parts), which you reach from an excellent summary of my past and current work (author unknown).

The Future of Information (1997) (Multipage fax format)
