"BackFollow", my $.02

'Backfollow' means traverse to a structure that also references some
stuff.  As an example, this finds the links onto some stuff.  It
doesn't go to the other end of the link!  Going to the other end of a
link requires forward-folloing one end of the link.  The word
'backfollow' was originally used to mean follow a reference backwards.
You can see how confusing this could be to someone who thinks links
are directional inside our data-structures.
